Sebastian Bach

Sebastian Bach (born April 3, 1968) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the frontman for the heavy metal band Skid Row from 1987 to 1996. After his departure from Skid Row, Bach pursued a solo career, releasing several albums and singles.

Early Life and Career:

Born Sebastian Philip Bierk in Freeport, Bahamas, Bach grew up in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He began singing in church choirs and performing in local bands at a young age. In 1987, he joined Skid Row, replacing their original vocalist.

Skid Row:

With Bach as their lead singer, Skid Row achieved significant commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Their self-titled debut album, Skid Row (1989), and its follow-up, Slave to the Grind (1991), both achieved multi-platinum status. Skid Row became known for their energetic live performances and Bach's powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence. The band achieved mainstream success with hits like "18 and Life," "I Remember You," and "Youth Gone Wild."

Solo Career:

Following his departure from Skid Row in 1996, Bach embarked on a solo career. He released his debut solo album, Bring 'Em Bach Alive!, in 1999. He has since released several studio albums, including Angel Down (2007), Kicking & Screaming (2011), and Give 'Em Hell (2014). He has also toured extensively and collaborated with numerous artists.

He played the role of Riff Raff in a Broadway production of The Rocky Horror Show and has made guest appearances on shows such as Gilmore Girls, Trailer Park Boys, and Californication. He has also appeared in reality television shows like Supergroup and Celebrity Fit Club.
