Ian Moss
Ian Moss (born 1955) is an Australian rock musician, best known as the lead guitarist and vocalist of the band Cold Chisel.
After forming Cold Chisel in Adelaide in 1973, Moss rose to prominence during the late 1970s and early 1980s as the band became one of Australia's most popular and influential rock acts. Known for his distinctive blues-rock guitar style and soulful vocals, Moss contributed significantly to Cold Chisel's sound and success.
Following Cold Chisel's disbandment in 1983, Moss embarked on a successful solo career. His debut album, "Matchbook" (1989), was a major commercial success in Australia, achieving multi-platinum status and spawning several hit singles. The album showcased Moss's songwriting abilities and cemented his status as a leading solo artist.
