Condor (TV series)
Condor is an American thriller television series based on the 1975 novel Six Days of the Condor by James Grady and its 1975 film adaptation, Three Days of the Condor. The series was created by Todd Katzberg, Jason Smilovic, and Ken Robinson.
The first season premiered on Audience on June 6, 2018. The series follows Joe Turner, a young CIA analyst who stumbles upon a conspiracy within the agency, forcing him to go on the run and fight for his survival.
The second season premiered on Audience on June 9, 2020. Following the cancellation of Audience, the series was acquired by Epix (now MGM+), which made both seasons available on the streaming service. In January 2024, MGM+ announced that the series would not be renewed for a third season.
The series stars Max Irons as Joe Turner, along with William Hurt (in his final television role), Leem Lubany, Mira Sorvino, Brendan Fraser, Bob Balaban, and Constance Zimmer in supporting roles.
Condor received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its suspenseful plot, strong performances, and stylish visuals. However, some criticisms were directed at its pacing and reliance on genre tropes.
