Kiss 102
Kiss 102 was a regional commercial radio station broadcasting to Greater Manchester, England. It formed part of the Kiss network of stations owned and operated by Bauer Radio. The station primarily played contemporary hit radio (CHR) music, targeting a younger audience.
Originally launched as Kiss 102 FM, the station's programming included both networked content from the national Kiss network and locally produced shows. Key features often included breakfast shows, drive-time programs, and specialist music shows focusing on specific genres such as R&B, hip-hop, and dance music.
Over time, and following changes within Bauer Radio's strategy, Kiss 102 was rebranded and integrated more fully into the national Kiss network. It ceased to exist as a separate, locally branded entity. While the frequency remains, the content now primarily originates from the central Kiss network. The station's local identity, including locally produced programming and presenters, was phased out.
