Rambo (2008 video game)

Rambo is a first-person shooter video game developed by Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment. It was released in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The game is based on the first three Rambo films: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III.

Players assume the role of John Rambo, utilizing a variety of weapons including his signature bow, machine guns, and explosives to fight through hordes of enemies. The game features levels based on scenes from the movies, allowing players to recreate iconic moments.

The gameplay is primarily on-rails shooting, where the player's movement is predetermined and they focus on aiming and shooting enemies. Quick Time Events (QTEs) are also incorporated during certain sequences.

The game received overwhelmingly negative reviews upon release, criticized for its poor graphics, outdated gameplay mechanics, numerous bugs, and low production value. Many reviewers considered it to be one of the worst video games of its generation. Despite the negative reception, Rambo has gained some notoriety as a "so bad it's good" title.
