Voz Veis

Voz Veis was a Venezuelan vocal sextet formed in 1995 and disbanded in 2010. Known for their a cappella arrangements and diverse musical influences, ranging from traditional Venezuelan music to pop and Latin rhythms, they gained considerable popularity in Venezuela and internationally.

The group consisted of Carlos Labrador, Roberto Zambrano, Gustavo González, Luigi Giraldo, Santiago Castillo, and Luis Enrique Leal. Their repertoire included original compositions, adaptations of Venezuelan folk songs, and covers of popular hits. Voz Veis's distinctive vocal harmonies and dynamic stage performances were key elements of their success.

Throughout their career, Voz Veis released several albums, achieving significant commercial success and earning numerous awards, including a Latin Grammy Award in 2007 for Best Children's Album for "Cómo Se Llega A Margarita." Their music often addressed themes of Venezuelan identity, social issues, and love. After disbanding in 2010, the members pursued individual projects in music and other creative fields. Despite their relatively short career, Voz Veis left a lasting impact on the Venezuelan music scene and a legacy of innovative a cappella music.
