Mara Clara (2010 TV series)

Mara Clara is a Philippine teen drama television series that aired on ABS-CBN from October 25, 2010, to June 3, 2011. It is a remake of the original 1992 television series of the same name.

The series revolves around the intertwined lives of Mara David and Clara del Valle, two young women who were switched at birth. Mara grows up in poverty, enduring hardships and mistreatment from her foster mother, while Clara lives a privileged life unaware of her true identity. As they grow older, the truth about their birth is revealed, leading to complex relationships, rivalries, and conflicts as they navigate their newfound circumstances and grapple with the consequences of the deception. The 2010 remake starred Kathryn Bernardo as Mara David and Julia Montes as Clara del Valle. The series also featured an ensemble cast portraying the families and individuals connected to the two main characters.
