Alfred McAlpine (businessman)

Alfred McAlpine (1907 – 1990) was a British businessman and a prominent figure in the construction industry. He was the grandson of Robert McAlpine, the founder of the McAlpine construction company, and the son of William Hepburn McAlpine.

Alfred McAlpine played a significant role in expanding and diversifying the family business, Sir Alfred McAlpine & Son Ltd., (later McAlpine).
