Euny Hong

Euny Hong is a Korean-American journalist and author. She is known for her books The Power of Nunchi: The Korean Secret to Happiness and Success (2019) and Keiretsu Economy: The Japanese Version of Capitalism (1998).

Hong's work often explores cultural differences and their impact on business, relationships, and personal well-being. The Power of Nunchi discusses the Korean concept of "nunchi," which roughly translates to the art of gauging others' thoughts and feelings in order to build harmony and trust. The book became a bestseller and has been translated into multiple languages.

She has written for publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Financial Times, and The Atlantic. Hong is a graduate of Yale University and also studied at the University of Göttingen in Germany.
