Kevin Cairns (footballer)

Kevin Cairns is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy and the Brisbane Bears in the Victorian Football League (VFL)/Australian Football League (AFL).

Cairns debuted for Fitzroy in 1985 and played 14 games for the club. A forward, he showed promise in his early career, but struggled to maintain a consistent place in the senior side.

In 1987, Cairns was traded to the Brisbane Bears, who were entering their inaugural VFL season. He played 12 games for the Bears, contributing to the club's early development. However, he didn't solidify a long-term position in the team and was delisted after the season.

After his VFL/AFL career, Cairns continued to play football at a local level. Details of his post-VFL/AFL career are limited.
