The Expert is a studio album by the American alternative rock band, Cold War Kids. Released on May 8, 2020, through AWAL Recordings, it is the third part of a trilogy of albums that began with New Age Norms 1 and New Age Norms 2. The album features a mix of indie rock, alternative, and soulful influences, and addresses themes of personal growth and reflection. It was produced by a variety of producers, including Lars Stalfors, Stint, and Drew Brown.
