Porky Pig
Porky Pig is an animated cartoon character in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of short films produced by Warner Bros. Entertainment. He is often cited as the first major character created by the studio to draw audience recognition, although his design and personality evolved considerably over time.
Porky is typically depicted as an anthropomorphic pig with a stutter. He frequently wears a blue jacket and tie, though this can vary depending on the cartoon. His trademark is his concluding line, a hesitant "Th-th-th-that's all folks!"
Porky's early appearances portrayed him as a naive and somewhat clumsy character. Later depictions refined his personality, often casting him as an everyman foil to more outlandish characters such as Daffy Duck. He also frequently appeared alongside Bugs Bunny.
The character was created by animator Bob Clampett, although his design was influenced by animator Friz Freleng's own character designs. Porky first appeared in the short "I Haven't Got a Hat" (1935), directed by Freleng.
Porky Pig remains a popular and recognizable cartoon icon, continuing to appear in new Looney Tunes productions and merchandise.
