Hendon South (UK Parliament constituency)

Hendon South was a parliamentary constituency in the Municipal Borough of Hendon, now part of Greater London. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.

It was created for the 1945 general election, primarily from the former Hendon constituency, and abolished for the 1997 general election when it was largely replaced by the new constituency of Hendon.

The constituency was generally a Conservative stronghold, although Labour briefly held the seat from 1966 to 1970. Its boundaries covered the southern part of the former Municipal Borough of Hendon, including areas such as Golders Green, Hendon itself, and parts of Finchley. The electorate typically reflected a mix of middle-class suburban residents.
