Callao (Line B Buenos Aires Underground)

Callao is a station on Line B of the Buenos Aires Underground (Subte). It is located beneath Avenida Corrientes at its intersection with Avenida Callao in the Balvanera neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The station was opened on October 17, 1930, as part of the original section of Line B between Federico Lacroze and Leandro N. Alem. The station is decorated with murals depicting various scenes and historical figures related to Argentina.
