John Woodruff (representative)

John Woodruff (born October 17, 1950) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 64th legislative district from 2017 to 2022. The 64th district encompasses parts of Crawford and Venango counties in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Prior to his election to the House, Woodruff served as a Mercer County Commissioner for 12 years. He has also worked in the private sector in the insurance and real estate industries.

During his time in the Pennsylvania House, Woodruff served on several committees, including the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee, and the Professional Licensure Committee. He focused on issues related to agriculture, natural gas development, and economic development in rural Pennsylvania. Woodruff did not seek re-election in 2022.
