Edgware Road tube station (Bakerloo line)
Edgware Road (Bakerloo) is a London Underground station on the Bakerloo line, located on the corner of Edgware Road and Harrow Road in the City of Westminster. It is distinct from another Edgware Road station a short distance away on the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines.
The station opened on 15 June 1907 as part of the Baker Street & Waterloo Railway. It is served by Bakerloo line trains operating between Elephant & Castle and Harrow & Wealdstone. The station has two platforms, one for northbound trains and one for southbound trains.
The station is located in Travelcard Zone 1. Notable nearby landmarks include Paddington Green Police Station and St Mary Magdalene Church. The station offers step-free access from street level to the northbound platform only. Access to the southbound platform involves stairs.
