New Forest West (UK Parliament constituency)

New Forest West is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 1997 by Sir Desmond Swayne, a Conservative.

Boundaries

The constituency covers the western part of the New Forest district in Hampshire, including the towns of Ringwood and New Milton. It is bordered by the constituencies of New Forest East, Christchurch (in Dorset), and Romsey and Southampton North.

The constituency was created in 1997 from parts of the New Forest constituency. It has been a Conservative safe seat since its inception.
