Ken Jeong
Ken Jeong (born July 13, 1969) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, producer, writer, and physician.
Jeong is best known for his roles as Leslie Chow in The Hangover film series (2009–2013), Ben Chang in the NBC/Yahoo! sitcom Community (2009–2015), and Mr. Wong in the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman (2014–2020). He also starred as Ken Park in the ABC sitcom Dr. Ken (2015–2017), which he created, wrote, and executive produced.
Prior to his career in entertainment, Jeong earned a medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency in internal medicine at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. He practiced medicine for several years before pursuing comedy and acting full-time.
Jeong began performing stand-up comedy while still in medical school. He gained recognition at comedy festivals and eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. His early television appearances include roles in The Office, Entourage, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Beyond acting and comedy, Jeong has also served as a panelist on the reality television shows The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice. He has also hosted several television shows and specials. He is a prominent figure in the Asian American community and has spoken out about the importance of representation in media.
