Robert Young (Canadian politician)
Robert Young (1834 – 1904) was a Canadian politician. He represented Lisgar in the House of Commons of Canada from 1882 to 1896.
Born in Aughanfad, County Donegal, Ireland, he emigrated to Canada in 1847. He was a farmer in Manitoba.
Young was first elected to the House of Commons in the 1882 federal election. He served as a Liberal Member of Parliament for the Lisgar riding, representing the constituency for fourteen years until his defeat in the 1896 election.
