Wang Rong (politician)

Wang Rong (Chinese: 王荣; pinyin: Wáng Róng; born April 1958) is a Chinese politician. He served as the Communist Party Secretary of Shenzhen and the Chairman of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress. Prior to his tenure in Shenzhen, he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Suzhou, Jiangsu province.

Biography

Wang Rong was born in Jimo, Shandong province. He graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University in 1981. He spent much of his early career in Jiangsu province, holding various positions within the agricultural sector and later in the provincial government.
