Del Yocam
Delbert W. "Del" Yocam (born c. 1944) is an American business executive known for his tenure at Apple Computer during the company's formative years. He joined Apple in 1979 and held several key positions, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Yocam played a significant role in scaling Apple's manufacturing, distribution, and operations during the rapid growth period driven by the Apple II and the early Macintosh computers.
Prior to Apple, Yocam worked at Xerox. After leaving Apple in 1989, he served as CEO of Tektronix and later held leadership roles at several other technology companies. He has also been involved in venture capital and private equity. His contributions to the operational infrastructure of Apple are often credited with helping the company achieve its early success.
