Charles Metz (Australian politician)

Charles Metz (1864 – 1956) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly from 1907 to 1920, representing the electorate of Aubigny.

Born in Germany, Metz immigrated to Australia and settled in Queensland. Prior to entering politics, he worked as a farmer. He was initially elected to the Queensland Parliament as a member of the Ministerialist party, which later evolved into the Queensland Farmers' Union. He served as a backbencher throughout his parliamentary career. His political views generally aligned with agrarian interests and conservative principles. He did not hold any ministerial portfolios. Following his departure from politics, Metz returned to private life.
