Dan Jennings (pitcher)
Dan Jennings (born April 17, 1977) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida Marlins/Miami Marlins (2011–2015), Chicago White Sox (2015), Tampa Bay Rays (2016), Washington Nationals (2017), and Milwaukee Brewers (2018). He threw left-handed.
Jennings was known for his sidearm delivery. Prior to reaching the major leagues, he pitched in independent leagues. He signed with the Marlins organization in 2008 and progressed through their minor league system. His MLB debut came on April 7, 2011.
Throughout his MLB career, Jennings was primarily used as a relief pitcher. He was noted for his durability and ability to pitch in high-leverage situations. His career statistics include a career ERA of 3.30 in 381 MLB games.
