Agostinia

Agostinia is a genus of titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Argentina. Its remains were discovered in the Cerro Lisandro Formation, dating to the Cenomanian-Turonian ages (approximately 95 to 90 million years ago).

The genus is based on very limited fossil material, consisting primarily of a single dorsal vertebra. Due to this fragmentary nature, the exact size and physical characteristics of Agostinia are not fully known. Estimates suggest it was a medium-sized titanosaur.

The taxonomic placement of Agostinia has been subject to debate. Some researchers consider it a valid genus, while others regard it as a nomen dubium (a name of doubtful validity) due to the scant and diagnostic nature of the fossil evidence. Further discoveries and analysis would be required to fully clarify its phylogenetic relationships within Titanosauria.
