Valomilk

Valomilk is a candy confection produced by the Sifers Valomilk Candy Company of Merriam, Kansas. It consists of a flowing, marshmallow-like filling encased in a milk chocolate shell. The filling's unique texture and flavor, differing from traditional marshmallow, are key characteristics.

The candy was first created in 1922 by Russell Sifers. Its name is a portmanteau of "Vali," referring to the Valiant Creamery, where Sifers sourced his milk, and "milk," indicating the prominent ingredient in the chocolate and filling. Valomilk candies are typically sold as single bars or in multi-packs. The bars are known for having a soft, almost liquid, center that can sometimes leak if the chocolate shell is compromised. Valomilk has remained a regional favorite, particularly in the Midwest United States, and enjoys a nostalgic following.
