Jack Callahan (Neighbours)

Jack Callahan was a character on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, played by Andrew Curry. He appeared on the show from 2006 to 2007. Jack was introduced as the son of Lyn Scully and her ex-husband, Joe Mangel, making him the half-brother of Stephanie Scully, Michelle Scully, and Oscar Scully.

Jack's storylines primarily revolved around his rebellious behaviour and struggles with fitting in. He initially clashed with his mother, Lyn, due to his resentment of her and her perceived abandonment of him when he was younger. His arrival in Erinsborough was largely unplanned, as he had run away from home.

During his time on Ramsay Street, Jack faced challenges adjusting to life in a more structured environment. He had a troubled relationship with his father, Joe, who tried to discipline him but often struggled to connect with his son. Jack also developed a friendship with Rachel Kinski, which at times hinted at romantic feelings, but this storyline was largely unresolved before his departure.

Ultimately, Jack left Erinsborough to return to his old life, realising that he was not ready to settle down and embrace the responsibilities that came with being a member of the Scully family. His departure was depicted as a decision to find his own path and independence. He did not return to the series.
