Casino Lisboa (Macau)

Casino Lisboa is a casino hotel located in Sé, Macau, owned by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM), a company founded by Stanley Ho. It is situated near the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The original Casino Lisboa opened in 1970 and was a landmark in Macau for many years, recognizable by its distinct architecture, particularly its birdcage-like structure.

The casino offers a variety of gaming options, including slot machines and table games such as baccarat, blackjack, and roulette. Over the years, it has undergone several renovations and expansions.

In 2007, the Grand Lisboa, a newer and much larger casino and hotel complex, opened adjacent to the original Casino Lisboa. While sometimes used interchangeably, the Grand Lisboa is a separate entity, though still owned by STDM. The presence of the Grand Lisboa has somewhat diminished the prominence of the original Casino Lisboa, but it remains a significant part of Macau's gambling history and landscape.
