Vrapče

Vrapče is a neighborhood located in the western part of Zagreb, Croatia. It is administratively part of the Podsused – Vrapče district.

Vrapče is primarily a residential area, characterized by a mix of apartment buildings and single-family homes. It has good transportation connections to the city center via trams, buses, and the Zagreb Commuter Railway.

The area is known for its proximity to nature, with access to hiking trails on Mount Medvednica (Sljeme). Vrapče also features various amenities including schools, kindergartens, shops, and parks.

Historically, Vrapče was a separate village before being incorporated into the expanding city of Zagreb. The name "Vrapče" itself translates to "Sparrow" in Croatian.
