Bruno Alves (footballer, born 1990)

Bruno Filipe Pereira Alves (born May 11, 1990) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays primarily as a right-back.

Alves began his senior career in Portugal, playing for lower league clubs such as Padroense FC and Varzim SC. He later moved to Romania, where he played for FC Petrolul Ploiești. Following his time in Romania, Alves had spells in various other leagues including the Cypriot First Division with Doxa Katokopias, the Ekstraklasa in Poland with Korona Kielce, and the LigaPro in Portugal with SC Farense.

Known for his defensive work rate and tackling ability, Alves has generally played as a right-back throughout his career.
