Ben Clark (politician)

Ben Clark is an American politician. He currently serves as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 21st Senate District, which includes portions of Hoke and Cumberland counties.

Clark is a Democrat. He was first elected to the North Carolina Senate in 2018, defeating incumbent Wesley Meredith. He previously served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 46th district, from 2013 to 2018.

Clark's legislative priorities have included education, healthcare, and economic development. He has served on various committees in the North Carolina General Assembly, including those related to appropriations, education, and judiciary.

Prior to his service in the General Assembly, Clark was an attorney. He is a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law. He also served in the United States Army Reserve.
