Route Description
K-187 begins at a junction with U.S. Route 56 (US-56) approximately one mile east of Overbrook. From there, it proceeds north, crossing a branch of Salt Creek. It continues north for a short distance before terminating at a junction with Interstate 70 (I-70) at exit 341. The highway primarily serves as a connector between US-56 and I-70, providing local access to the interstate.
