Ballet Shoes (film)

Ballet Shoes is the title of several film and television adaptations of the 1936 novel Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild. The story centers on the three Fossil sisters – Pauline, Petrova, and Posy – who are adopted as babies by the eccentric Great-Uncle Matthew (Gum). The girls are raised in London by Gum's niece, Sylvia, and their lives revolve around the Performing Academy of Dancing and Stage Training, where they each discover their unique talents and pursue careers in acting, aviation, and ballet respectively.

There have been several notable adaptations:

This version received considerable attention due to the casting of Emma Watson, known for her role in the Harry Potter film series.
