Önder Sav
Önder Sav (born January 1, 1955) is a Turkish lawyer and politician. He is best known for his role as the Secretary-General of the Republican People's Party (CHP) between 2008 and 2010.
Sav graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law. Before entering politics, he practiced law for many years.
He became a member of parliament representing Ankara in the 23rd term of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. During his time as Secretary-General of the CHP, he was a prominent figure within the party leadership. His tenure as Secretary-General ended in 2010 following internal party disputes and the leaking of a controversial video involving the then-CHP leader, Deniz Baykal.
Since leaving his position as Secretary-General, Sav has remained involved in legal practice and continues to participate in political discussions within Turkey.
