Barry Mason (musician)
Barry Mason (born 12 July 1935, Wigan, Lancashire, England, died 16 April 2011, Penarth, Wales) was a prolific British songwriter, best known for penning numerous hit songs throughout the 1960s and 1970s. He frequently collaborated with lyricist Les Reed, producing a string of chart-topping successes.
