Brian Wardle (basketball)

Brian Wardle (born September 17, 1979) is an American college basketball coach, currently the head coach at Bradley University.

Wardle played college basketball at Marquette University from 1997 to 2001, where he was a three-year starter. He served as team captain during his senior season.

Wardle began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Marquette University from 2001 to 2005 under head coach Tom Crean. He then became the head coach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, a position he held from 2005 to 2015. During his tenure at Green Bay, he led the Phoenix to a Horizon League regular season championship in 2014 and a CIT championship in 2012.

In March 2015, Wardle was named the head coach at Bradley University. At Bradley, he has led the Braves to Missouri Valley Conference tournament championships in 2019 and 2020, earning automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament in both years. He has been named Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year twice, in 2019 and 2023.
