Yang Yu (footballer)

Yang Yu (born January 1, 1985) is a Chinese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Career

Yang Yu began his football career with Shanghai Shenhua, progressing through their youth academy. He was promoted to the first team squad in 2004. Throughout his time with Shanghai Shenhua, he was often utilized as a squad player.
