Frank Wilson (politician)

Frank Wilson was a British Labour Party politician. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Colne Valley from 1966 to 1974.

Born in February 1916, Wilson was active in local politics before entering national office. He was a local councillor prior to his election to Parliament.

During his time in the House of Commons, Wilson was a supporter of Harold Wilson’s Labour government. He served on various parliamentary committees and participated in debates on a range of social and economic issues.

Wilson lost his seat in the February 1974 general election. After leaving Parliament, he remained involved in local affairs and community work. He died in 2004. His political positions were generally aligned with the moderate wing of the Labour Party.
