Willie Wilson (footballer, born 1894)

Willie Wilson (footballer, born 1894) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an outside left.

Born in Cambuslang, Scotland in 1894, Wilson began his senior career with Hamilton Academical. He played for the club from 1919 to 1923, making over 100 appearances and scoring a significant number of goals for the team during his time there. Details of his career prior to 1919 are sparse, but it is believed he may have played junior football.

After leaving Hamilton Academical, Wilson went on to play for Ayr United. Details of his career beyond his time at Ayr United are currently unknown.

His career spanned the interwar period and he was known for his pace and skill on the left wing.
