Wai Caves

The Wai Caves are a network of natural caves located near Wai, a town in the Satara district of Maharashtra, India. These caves are primarily known for their historical and religious significance, particularly their association with Buddhist and Hindu traditions.

Historically, the Wai Caves are believed to have been carved out during the early centuries of the Common Era, likely between the 2nd and 3rd centuries CE.
