List of people of the Three Kingdoms (M)

This is a list of notable individuals whose family names start with the letter "M" and who lived during the Three Kingdoms period (220–280 AD) of Chinese history, or who were significant figures in the events leading up to or immediately following this period. This list includes individuals from the states of Cao Wei, Shu Han, Eastern Wu, and other minor factions or independent forces.

• Ma Chao (馬超): A renowned general serving under various warlords before joining Liu Bei. Known for his martial prowess and nicknamed "Ma Mengqi."

• Ma Dai (馬岱): A general serving under Shu Han, and a distant relative of Ma Chao. He is credited with assassinating Wei Yan.

• Ma Liang (馬良): An advisor serving under Liu Bei in Shu Han, known for his exceptional administrative skills and wisdom. He was part of the "White Eyebrow Ma Family" alongside his brothers.

• Ma Su (馬謖): A strategist serving under Shu Han. He was initially favored by Zhuge Liang but was later executed for his poor command at the Battle of Jieting.

• Ma Teng (馬騰): The father of Ma Chao, a warlord who controlled a region in the northwest before being invited to the capital by Cao Cao and subsequently executed.

• Mao Jie (毛玠): An advisor to Cao Cao known for his advocacy of meritocracy and frugal governance.

• Mi Fang (糜芳): A general who initially served Liu Bei but later defected to Sun Quan.

• Mi Zhu (糜竺): An influential merchant who supported Liu Bei with resources and served as an official in Shu Han. Brother of Mi Fang.

• Meng Da (孟達): A general who served under various warlords including Liu Zhang, Liu Bei, and Cao Pi. He eventually betrayed Shu Han and defected to Cao Wei.

• Meng Huo (孟獲): A local chieftain of the Nanman people in southern China, who rebelled against Shu Han and was repeatedly captured and released by Zhuge Liang.

• Man Chong (滿寵): A general and strategist serving under Cao Wei, known for his defensive expertise and tactical acumen.
