Rakity

Rakity (Russian: Ракиты) is a rural locality (a selo) in Mikhaylovsky District, Altai Krai, Russia. It is the administrative center of Rakitovsky Selsoviet, which comprises three rural localities: Rakity, Chemnovka, and Krasny Oktyabr.

The village is located in the south of the West Siberian Plain, in a forest-steppe zone, on the left bank of the Aley River, approximately 28 kilometers (17 mi) southwest of Mikhaylovskoye, the district's administrative center.
