Kennedy (1983 miniseries)

Kennedy is a five-part American television miniseries that aired in November 1983. It dramatized the life of U.S. President John F. Kennedy from 1960 to his assassination in November 1963. The series was based on the book of the same name by Theodore H. White.

The miniseries starred Martin Sheen as John F. Kennedy, Blair Brown as Jacqueline Kennedy, and E.G. Marshall as Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. It also featured John Shea as Robert F. Kennedy and Geraldine Fitzgerald as Rose Kennedy. The production was directed by Jim Goddard.

Kennedy was a ratings success and received positive reviews, although it also generated some controversy due to its portrayal of historical events and figures.
