The station is owned and operated by Tri-State Public Teleplex, Inc., doing business as WNIN, Inc., which also operates PBS member station WNIN in Evansville, Indiana. WIMN-CD primarily serves as a repeater for WNIN, extending its over-the-air coverage into areas of Warrick County and surrounding regions where the main WNIN signal may be weaker.
