Sean Tucker (American football)
Sean Tucker (born December 28, 2001) is an American football running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Syracuse University.
Early Life and High School
Tucker attended Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland. He played running back and defensive back. He earned All-Metro honors from The Baltimore Sun.
College Career
Tucker played for the Syracuse Orange from 2020 to 2022. He quickly established himself as a key offensive player for the team.
- 2020: In his freshman season, Tucker rushed for 626 yards and four touchdowns in 11 games.
- 2021: As a sophomore, Tucker had a breakout season, rushing for 1,496 yards and 12 touchdowns. He earned first-team All-ACC honors and was named a Walter Camp All-American.
- 2022: In his junior season, Tucker continued his strong performance, rushing for 1,060 yards and 11 touchdowns. He again earned All-ACC honors.
Tucker declared for the NFL Draft following the 2022 season.
Professional Career
Tucker was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
