USS Teaser (SP-933)
The USS Teaser (SP-933) was a United States Navy patrol boat in commission from 1917 to 1919.
Teaser was built as the civilian motorboat Teaser in 1916 by the Gas Engine & Power Company at Morris Heights, New York. On June 21, 1917, the U.S. Navy acquired her under a free lease from her owner, W. F. Burden of Troy, New York, for use as a section patrol vessel during World War I. She was commissioned as USS Teaser (SP-933) on August 3, 1917.
Assigned to the 3rd Naval District, Teaser performed patrol duties in the New York City area for the remainder of World War I.
The Navy returned Teaser to Burden on December 2, 1919. Her subsequent fate is unknown.
