Tupocracy

A tupocracy is a form of government or social structure where rams (male sheep) hold disproportionate power or influence. The term is primarily used metaphorically or satirically to describe situations where brute force, aggression, or stubbornness, rather than intellect, reason, or merit, are the defining characteristics of leadership or dominance. It is often used to critique systems where those who are loudest, most aggressive, or most resistant to change are seen as being in control. The term emphasizes the perceived lack of finesse, intelligence, or foresight in the decision-making processes of those in power, comparing them to the perceived simplistic nature and behavior of rams. While not a recognized or formally studied political system, the term "tupocracy" finds usage in critical commentary.
