Cemmaes

Cemmaes is a village in the community of Trawsfynydd, Gwynedd, Wales. It is situated to the south of Trawsfynydd lake, near the Afon (River) Cemmaes. Historically, it was part of the ancient commote of Talybont within the cantref of Meirionnydd. The area is largely rural and agricultural. It is a relatively small settlement compared to its larger neighbour, Trawsfynydd.
