Paulo Bernardo (footballer)

Paulo Bernardo (born 24 January 2002) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Celtic, on loan from Benfica.

Early Life and Career

Bernardo began his youth career at Benfica, progressing through their academy system.

Club Career

He made his professional debut for Benfica B in the Liga Portugal 2. He then played for the Benfica first team. In August 2023, he joined Celtic on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

International Career

Bernardo has represented Portugal at various youth international levels.
