The Fearless Four (film)
The Fearless Four is a 1997 German-American animated musical film directed by Michael Coldewey and starring the voices of Dee Snider, James Ingram, B. B. King, and Oleta Adams. The film is loosely based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Bremen Town Musicians." The plot follows four mistreated animals – Buster the dog, Gwendolyn the cat, Fred the donkey, and Tortellini the rooster – who leave their respective farms and journey to New York City to pursue their musical dreams and escape cruel owners. Along the way, they encounter a gang of criminals and use their combined talents to thwart their plans. The film features original songs performed by the voice cast and other musical artists. While aimed at children, the film contains darker themes and some mature content. It received generally negative reviews upon release, with critics citing poor animation quality and a weak plot.
