The Old Man (TV series)

The Old Man is an American thriller television series based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Thomas Perry. The series premiered on FX on June 16, 2022.

Synopsis:

The series follows Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges), a former CIA operative who has been living off the grid for decades. When an assassin attempts to kill him, Chase is forced to come out of hiding and confront his past. As he is pursued by both the FBI and rogue elements within the CIA, Chase must use his skills and knowledge to stay alive and protect those he cares about. He is pursued by FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence Harold Harper (John Lithgow), who has a complex history with Chase.
